This policy explains which personal data I process when you visit this website or get in touch. It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. What data I process

If you contact me by email or phone, I process the details you give me – such as your name, contact details and information about your project.

When you visit the website, the hosting provider records technical data in log files, such as your IP address, the date and time of access and the browser you use.

You don’t have to give me any data. Without contact details, though, I can’t answer your enquiry.

3. Why I process it

To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and carry out projects, and to keep the website running securely.

4. Who I share it with

I don’t sell personal data. I only share it where that’s necessary to carry out a project or where the law requires me to.

The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network AG, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Geneva), Switzerland, which processes data only on my behalf. Data is stored in data centres in Switzerland.

My mailbox is run by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates (Geneva), Switzerland.

If a freelancer based in Germany works on a project with me, I pass on the data they need. Under Annex 1 of the Swiss Data Protection Ordinance, Germany provides an adequate level of protection.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses no cookies for analytics or advertising and no tracking. Your choice of language and appearance (light, dark or system) is stored only in your own browser. You can block or delete this in your browser settings; the site then uses its defaults.

6. Fonts

All fonts are served from this website’s own server. No data is sent to font providers.

7. How long I keep it

I keep personal data only as long as the purpose requires, or as long as the law says I must.

8. Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and receive the data you gave me in a common electronic format (Art. 25, 28 and 32 FADP). Just write to the address above.

9. Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this website applies.
